Art can be a powerful tool for social change. Somehow through art I could express my views of what was happening around me. In this painting which I decided to paint subjects that dealt with the plight of the OFW's, it's an overdue concept but it is still doing magic. But I still feel I'm a bit subtle on my approach, or I'm just trying to be safe. Though Direct Peque Gallaga commented that “these were powerful statements” refering to my Gallery Orange BRANDEAD 2009 exhibit.
